AND WHERE did they hide it? And how did they do it and why? And how do we go about finding it?

We are told that it is right here in plain sight for some. But it is just not there for the rest of us. So the problem seems to be in us and not in finding the place and finding what is covering it up. It just might be that it is we who have covered it up; and that poses the questions of when did we do this and what did we use to cover it over.

Evidently we did this a long time ago when we first moved into this wonderful brain mind of ours and got so fascinated with all the interesting things it could do. A little like the fascination of getting a new computer. We piled up so much partial information through those obliging senses of ours that we completely covered up the real. We even forgot that it was there until some kind teacher came along and reminded us that we were really on a side-track and that the main line was over there somewhere.

It seems we are going to have to get rid of a lot of this unquestioned lumber that is clogging up the passages in our "attic." The teacher has told us that if we do that the true knowledge, what we have been calling occult knowledge, will be right there, just like new. Isn't that fantastic? And it has been said that one of the best ways to go about this house cleaning is to use this same brain-mind of ours to seriously question and expose a lot of these false ideas and conclusions that have "come to dinner" and gradually taken over.

But, apparently, there is another way. We heard of a children's play in which beautiful little "Service Spirits" came and uncovered the Real. Maybe that would work for us too. Where shall we find them?

COMPILER'S NOTE: The following is a separate item which followed the above article but was on the same page. I felt it was useful to include it here:

Take special care to guard your tongue before
the morning prayer.

Even greeting your fellowman, we are told,
Can be harmful at that hour.

A person who wakes up in the morning is
Like a new creation.

Begin your day with unkind words,
Or even trivial matters--

Even though you may later turn to prayer,
You have not been true to your Creation.

All of your words each day
Are related to one another.

All of them are rooted in the first words that
you speak.
